The Scale of the Universe

In the last post, I shared a link to a video which showed the Scale of Stars. Here’s another scaly link: The Scale of the Universe. Beginning with the smallest things in the Universe, like the Planck Length, to larger objects like neutrinos, atoms, cells, ants, eggs, humans, Angel Falls, planets, stars, nebulae, galaxies, and the Universe, this interactive tour lets you zoom through the scale of things and watch things disappear inside larger and larger items. Mind-boggling goodness. Zoom away!

This clip from the Scale of the Universe tool shows a strand of DNA dwarfing a Carbon Nanotube which itself dwarfs a water molecule. The big purple thing above is part of an HIV virus.
